Built in 1904 as a Kauri Gum trading post for LD Nathan & Co, Achilles House has seen Auckland expand around it.
Located in the transport hub of Auckland, opposite the historic Britomart precinct, the building has undergone a number of face-lifts from her Victorian beginnings. In the mid 1930’s the building underwent a deco refurbishment complete with the exterior plastering which can still be seen today. In the 1950’s the call was for modern and the solid columns were hidden from view with a covering of gib and the kauri floor was over laid with carpet. Now she has undergone her most comprehensive refurbishment ever to return to her former glory as an icon of Auckland. Fully refurbished, Achilles House opens its doors to tenants looking for character space in the heart of the city. The retail has been leased to a variety of exciting food and fashion stores, breathing new life into the area.
Office suites range in size from 30 sqm to 700 sqm.
